Course Content
Working within the legislative and policy frameworks, you will:

Understand the indicators of the different types and dynamics of abuse as they may apply to age, gender, disability, culture, and sexuality

Report indications of the possible risk of harm

Respond to disclosure and ask open and non-leading questions

Be aware of the mandatory reporting requirements in your jurisdiction

Know how to document, record, and report risk-of-harm indicators in a non-judgmental manner

Implement work practices that support the protection of children and young people
